Our program offers the advantage of allowing you to complete your first-year courses online while waiting for your admission and student visa, which can save you both time and money.

You can apply for university admission and a student visa through our program.  Our licensed, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) will assist you.

While you are waiting for the admission and visa to be processed, start taking classes online. After receiving the study permit, you can fly to Canada and begin your on-campus classes.

 

With this smooth partnership program, you can complete the first year of your four-year bachelor’s degree program. The first year includes 5 courses, and each course is worth 3 credits or 15 credits in total. You can take up to five courses or 15 credits per semester.

Once you complete up to 10 courses, the credits will be transferred to Thompson Rivers University (TRU) to continue your studies in Canada in any Bachelor of Business Administration Program. TRU academic advisors consult you for course planning and transfers.

Moreover, you have the flexibility to move to Canada whenever you want during the first year. You can transfer up to 15 credits whenever you decide to move to Canada.

We also offer a Pre-Arrival Preparation Program with informative content about culture, settlement, immigration, and more! Students have full access to this program during enrollment in our programs, free of charge. This program will familiarize students with what to expect in their destination country. After graduation in Canada, you will be eligible for PGWP (Post-Graduation Work Permit).

    The TRU 1+3 Bachelor – Business Administration program is a partnership program with Thompson Rivers University (TRU). It allows international students to complete one semester of their four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program online with an accredited university before transferring to TRU to complete the rest of their degree.

  6. How can I use the program to improve my English language proficiency if my IELTS score is lower than 6.0 or 6.5? 
    If your IELTS score is lower than the required score for the TRU 1+3 Bachelor program, you can still use the program to improve your English language skills. TRU1+3 program allows you to take online courses to improve your English proficiency and upgrade it to the TRU benchmark. However, you will need to have a minimum of IELTS 5 or 5.5 to start and then work towards reaching the TRU benchmark to be eligible for a Letter of Admission. This way, you can complete one or more semesters online based on the Canadian education system while improving your English language skills. Once you meet the English language proficiency requirements, you can get admission to go to Thompson Rivers University to continue your studies in Canada.
  7. Can I transfer credits earned from another university or college towards my Bachelor of Business Administration program at TRU?
    Yes, TRU accepts transfer credits from its partner universities that have signed agreements with TRU. Our overseas partner universities have already signed up for our TRU 1+3 Bachelor program, which means that once you complete the courses in the program, the credits will be transferred seamlessly to TRU. This allows you to start your Canadian university studies more quickly and with fewer obstacles as long as you complete the program and meet the requirements outlined in our agreements with our partner universities. TRU academic advisors will also consult with you to plan your course selection and ensure you meet the requirements for transferring credits.
